【摘要】:1.1Thispracticecoversproceduresforperformingvisualmonitoringofroofingconstructionto:1.1.1Establishguidelinesforqualityassuranceobservationpractices;and1.1.2Definetheroleandresponsibilitiesofthequalityassuranceobserver.1.2Thispracticepertainstodaily,full-time,qualityassuranceobservationofroofingprojects.Thispracticeisapplicabletonewconstructionorreroofingprojectsinvolvingtheinstallationofanewroofsystem,theremovalofexistingroofingandinstallationofanewroofsystem,orrecoveringanexistingroof.Itisalsoapplicabletoroofingprojectsinvolvingrepairsorscheduledmaintenancetoanexistingroof.1.3Thispracticecontainsthefollowinginformation:1.3.1Theobjectivesofthequalityassuranceprocess;1.3.2Theresponsibilitiesandqualificationsoftheindividual(s)involvedintheobservationsoftheroofconstructionorrepair;1.3.3Identificationanduseofthebasictoolsorequipmentrequiredforthevisualroofobservationprocess;and1.3.4Monitoring,recording,andreportingprocedures.1.4Thispracticedoesnotaddresspracticesofroofinvestigation,conditionreporting,oranalysisofpreexistingroofs.1.5Thispracitcedoesnotpertaintoqualitycontrolprocessesortechniquesperformedbypersonsorentitiesrepresentingorundercontracttotheroofingcontractor.Thequalitycontrolprocessisseparateanddistinctfromthequalityassuranceobservationprocess.1.6Assessmentofsafeworkpracticesorsafetymonitoringproceduresfollowedbythecontractorareoutsidethescopeofthispractice.1.7Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
