【摘要】:ThisSAEStandardcoverstheminimumrequirementsformetricsizesofnonmetallictubingasmanufacturedforuseinairbrakesystems.NonreinforcedproductsaredesignatedtypeAandreinforcedproductstypeB.Itisnotintendedtocovertubingforanyportionofthesystemthatoperatesbelow?0C(?0F),above+93鳦(+200鳩),aboveamaximumworkinggagepressureof1.0MPa(150psi),orinanareasubjecttoattackbybatteryacid.Thistubingisintendedforuseinthebrakesystemforconnectionsthatmaintainabasicallyfixedrelationshipbetweencomponentsduringvehicleoperation.CoiledtubeassembliesrequiredforthoseinstallationswhereflexingoccursarecoveredbythisstandardandSAEJ1131totheextentofsettingminimumrequirementsontheessentiallystraighttubeandtubefittingconnections,whichareusedintheconstructionofsuchassemblies.
