【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardappliestoresidualcurrentoperatedcircuit-breakerswithintegralovercurrentprotectionfunctionallyindependentof,orfunctionallydependenton,linevoltageforhouseholdandsimilaruses(hereafterreferredtoasRCBOs),forratedvoltagesnotexceeding440Va.c.,ratedcurrentsnotexceeding125Aandratedshort-circuitcapacitiesnotexceeding25000Aforoperationat50Hzor60Hz.Thesedevicesareintendedtoprotectpeopleagainstindirectcontact,theexposedconductivepartsoftheinstallationbeingconnectedtoanappropriateearthelectrodeandtoprotectagainstovercurrentsthewiringinstallationsofbuildingsandsimilarapplications.Theymaybeusedtoprovideprotectionagainstfirehazardsduetoapersistentearthfaultcurrent,withouttheoperationoftheovercurrentprotectivedevice.RCBOshavingaratedresidualoperatingcurrentnotexceeding30mAarealsousedasameansforadditionalprotectioninthecaseoffailureoftheprotectivemeansagainstelectricshock.Thisstandardappliestodevicesperformingsimultaneouslythefunctionofdetectionoftheresidualcurrent,ofcomparisonofthevalueofthiscurrentwiththeresidualoperatingvalueandofopeningoftheprotectedcircuitwhentheresidualcurrentexceedsthisvalue,andalsoofperformingthefunctionofmaking,carryingandbreakingovercurrentsunderspecifiedconditions.ThecontentofthepresentstandardrelatedtoprotectionagainstovercurrentsisbasedonIEC60898.RCBOsofthegeneraltypeareresistanttounwantedtripping,includingthecasewheresurgevoltages(asaresultofswitchingtransientsorinducedbylightning)causeloadingcurrentsintheinstallationwithoutoccurrenceofflashover.RCBOsoftheStypeareconsideredtobesufficientlyproofagainstunwantedtrippingevenifthesurgevoltagecausesaflashoverandafollow-oncurrentoccurs.RCBOsaresuitableforisolation.Specialprecautions(e.g.lightningarresters)maybenecessarywhenexcessiveovervoltagesarelikelytooccuronthesupplyside(forexampleinthecaseofsupplythroughoverheadlines)(seeIEC60364-4-443).ThisstandardalsoappliestoRCBOsobtainedbytheassemblyofanadaptableresidualcurrentdevicewithacircuit-breaker.Themechanicalassemblyshallbeeffectedinthefactorybythemanufacturer,oronsite,inwhichcasetherequirementsofannexGshallapply.ItalsoappliestoRCBOshavingmorethanoneratedcurrent,providedthatthemeansforchangingfromonediscreteratingtoanotherisnotaccessibleinnormalserviceandthattheratingcannotbechangedwithouttheuseofatool.SupplementaryrequirementsmaybenecessaryforRCBOsoftheplug-intype.ParticularrequirementsarenecessaryforRCBOsincorporatedinorintendedonlyforassociationwithplugsandsocket-outletsorwithappliancecouplersforhouseholdandsimilargeneralpurposes.Thisstandarddoesnotapplyto:–RCBOsintendedtoprotectmotors,–RCBOsthecurrentsettingofwhichisadjustablebymeansaccessibletotheuserinnormalservice.Therequirementsofthisstandardapplyfornormalenvironmentalconditions(see7.1).AdditionalrequirementsmaybenecessaryforRCBOsusedinlocationshavingsevereenvironmentalconditions.RCBOsincludingbatteriesarenotcoveredbythisstandard.Aguidefortheco-ordinationofRCBOswithfusesisgiveninannexF.
